Experienced PCB Inspector

The PCB Inspector will be required to visually inspect PCB's to ensure that they meet quality standards.

The main responsibility is to carry out inspection of Printed Circuit Boards in accordance with Quality and Industry standards.

Duties/tasks will include;

- Inspect PCBs to IPC-A-610, class 3 to ensure quality of product

- Inspect PCBs using magnification equipment & AOI

- Liaise with Production

- Assist & support production assemblers (discuss faults and findings)

To be considered for this PCB Inspector opportunity, you must be educated to a reasonable level (GCSE English and Math). An IPC-A-610 qualification would be beneficial but not essential.

Experience of working within a similar role or electronics manufacturing environment is vital.

PCB Inspector - other skills/knowledge required;

  • Understand component identification codes such as resistors, capacitors and ICs
  • Able to interpret engineering drawings and bills of materials (BOM)
  • Previous inspection and assembly experience to IPC-A-610 class 2 minimum desirable
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to concentrate for extended periods of time on repetitive tasks
  • Able to work effectively to deadlines
  • Demonstrates proactive approach
  • Communicate clearly with all staff members
  • Dexterity, Good Hand and Eye coordination

Assistant Buyer

Overall Purpose of the Role:

Support the Procurement Team in the procurement and quotation of goods and materials to ensure that the company’s operational needs are met, taking into account price, quality and delivery and to ensure continuity of supply.

Key Responsibilities:

General and Task Management

  • To assist in the procurement of goods as specified by a customer’s Bill of Material, ensuring correct quantity, best price and timely delivery.
  • To assist in producing quotations against customer’s Bill of Materials.
  • Resolving any delivery or quality issues in an efficient manner to prevent any delays in the delivery of product to our customer or line stoppages.
  • Negotiating and building relationships with suppliers.
  • Liaising with all departments within Trizo.

Skills and Attributes:

  • Good communication, negotiation, interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Analytical, numerically astute, with strong problem solving abilities
  • Commercial and financial awareness, with a full understanding of how failure impacts the production, manufacture and customer order fulfilment
  • Able to work well under pressure
  • Keen attention to detail and accuracy
  • Knowledge of electronic components
  • Keen and eager to learn.

Experience Levels:

  • Previous experience of working in an electronics manufacturing environment.
  • Excel skills is a necessity

Full Time PCB Assembly Technician

Experienced full time vacancy for a PCB Assembly Technician required for a busy well-established electronics company.

Trizo Ltd is looking for to appoint a full time highly skilled PCB Assembly Technician to assist a busy team in their manufacturing department.

Ideal candidate will have at least 3+ years’ experience & awareness of IPC.

Duties/tasks will include;

  • PCB Assembly (SMT & PTH)
  • Component Forming
  • Hand Soldering
  • General Housekeeping
