SMT Production Technician


Trizo has an exciting opportunity for an SMT Technician to join their engineering team. The ideal candidate for the Surface Mount Operator will have at least 2 years’ experience within an SMT Production environment.

The ideal candidate must also be able to work within a team, be computer literate and self-motivated

Career Progression to Team leader within 6 months for the right person.


Responsibilities:

  • General running and maintenance of the surface mount machines
  • Correct and safe use of printing equipment, reflow oven and Automated Optical Inspection machine (AOI)
  • Meet Company targets in production and quality
  • Continual improvement of surface mount productivity
  • Assistance with scheduling workload

 

Skills/Knowledge Required:

  • SMT experience required but further training will be given to assist with knowledge gaps
  • Working to tight deadlines with a high level of accuracy
  • Must be reliable, conscientious and hardworking
  • Engineering experience required

Test Engineer


Trizo Ltd is looking to appoint a full time, highly skilled Test Engineer to assist their busy team in the manufacturing department. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience within electronics.


The Role:

The successful Test Engineer will be required to thoroughly test and inspect PCBs to ensure our customers receive quality assured products. You will run tests on various components and features in order to identify and fix technical issues.

You will work closely with the production team to understand the product specification. Then, you will run a series of tests depending on product type to ensure it meets its specified standard, and identify and diagnose any malfunctions that could arise. Ultimately, you’ll ensure our final products meet our quality standards and customer expectations. You will also action the customer’s test requirements and report results.


Responsibilities:

  • Gather product requirements (e.g. functionalities, speed, safety standards)
  • Run quality controls on components and final products
  • Develop test environments and test cases for electrical systems
  • Analyse test results, detect issues and track root causes
  • Suggest fixes and improvements
  • Document technical issues and solutions
  • Ensure our products and procedures meet industry standards

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Test Engineer or similar role
  • Familiarity with various testing techniques and use of equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies and in-circuit debugger/programmer
  • Hands-on experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS)
  • Knowledge of quality standards and regulations
  • Great troubleshooting skills
  • Analytical mindset
  • High level of competency with Microsoft Office, including Excel & Word
  • Additional certification in Quality Assurance is a plus

Experience Required

  • Qualified to HND/degree level or equivalent in electronic/electrical engineering
  • Proven experience in test engineering

Administration Assistant 


Trizo is looking for an Administrative assistant to join their growing team. The role will involve carrying out a wide range of general and operational support duties to assist the Management team and Purchasing Department. The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of administrative tasks which requires excellent organisational abilities. The role involves regular use of Word, Excel and Outlook, so competent IT skills are essential.


Role & Responsibilities:

  • Answering incoming calls and directing them to the appropriate person
  • Updating and creating internal documents
  • Scanning and filing documentation
  • Ensure website and social media is up to date
  • Supporting buying team, including raising purchase orders
  • Ad-hoc administrative support to production and stores team
 

Person Specification:

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with excellent phone manner
  • Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Packages
  • You must be self-motivated, able to work on your own and prioritise your workload
  • You must have previous experience working in an administrative role
